Internationally renowned singer, recording artist, and humanitarian Dionne Warwick and the legendary musical theatre performer Carol Channing will be honored, along with 16 other members of the New York cabaret and jazz community, at the 26th Annual Bistro Awards, which will take place on Tuesday, April 26 at Gotham Comedy Club, located at 208 West 23rd Street (between 7th & 8th avenues).

For the first time in it's extraordinary eight-year history, Jim Caruso's Cast Party will burst from its steady Monday night home at Birdland to take on the big stage at Town Hall in a major benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Marilyn Maye brought "Her Own Kind Of Broadway" show to the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach last week. The merchants on Worth Ave. were probably complaining about a lack of shoppers during her performances-everyone seemed to be at the Colony to hear this American treasure. For this engagement she brought along her longtime friend (and birthday boy) pianist Billy Stritch.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, will continue its 2011 season with appearances from numerous Broadway performers including: Laura Benanti, Ana Gasteyer, Kate Baldwin, and many more.

The multiple Emmy-Award winning Bruce Vilanch has been announced as the host of the 9th Annual Nightlife Awards at The Town Hall. The unique All-Performance Awards show that honors the most outstanding performers in The categories of Cabaret, Comedy and Jazz in the clubs of New York, will take place on January 31, 2011. Presenters for the event have not yet been announced.
