Cast Announced for CABARET National Tour, Launching at PPAC in January

The musical masterpiece returns, direct from Broadway! As part of their 50th Anniversary Season,Roundabout Theatre Company is proud to announce casting for the national tour of Sam Mendes (Spectre, American Beauty) and Rob Marshall's (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award-winning production of CABARET. Randy Harrison, best known for his portrayal of Justin in the Showtime drama 'Queer as Folk,' will step into the role of the Emcee while Andrea Goss, a veteran of Roundabout's CABARET on Broadway will return to the role of Sally Bowles when the tour premieres in Providence, RI at the Providence Performing Arts Center with performances beginning Tuesday, January 26.

As part of Roundabout Theatre Company's 50th Anniversary Season, Broadway In Chicago and Roundabout Theatre Company have announced casting for the national tour of Sam Mendes (Spectre, American Beauty) and Rob Marshall's (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award-winning production of CABARET. Individual tickets for the Chicago premiere of Roundabout Theatre Company's CABARET will go on sale Friday, December 11. CABARET will play Broadway In Chicago's newly named The PrivateBank Theatre (18 West Monroe) for a limited two-week engagement February 9 - 21, 2016.

As part of their 50th Anniversary Season, Roundabout Theatre Company just announced that the national tour of SAM MENDES (Skyfall, American Beauty) and ROB MARSHALL'S (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award®-winning production of CABARET, will premiere in Providence, RI at the Providence Performing Arts Center with performances beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 31 and an official opening on Thursday, Jan. 28 2016. This tour ofCABARET marks Roundabout Theatre Company's third production on the road, having previously produced the critically acclaimed tours of Twelve Angry Men and Anything Goes.

Over fifty years ago, a bespectacled kid from Lubbock, Texas changed the face of popular music. Buddy Holly's meteoric rise to stardom was cut short when at the age of just 22 he died tragically in a plane crash. Fulton Theatre's production of Buddy-The Buddy Holly Story tells the tale of the three years in which he became the world's top recording artist.

Pace University's Pace New Musicals program, dedicated to the discovery of new theater works, and Ryan Scott Oliver, composer-lyricist and producer, will present a staged reading of I Capture the Castle by Marion Adler, Peter Foley and Cara Reichel January 23-27, and its inaugural New Musical Lab, a concert reading of Make Me Bad, by Drew Gasparini and Alex Brightman, which will be presented January 26-27.
