Pop TV announced that HOT DATE, the sketch comedy series spotlighting modern-day relationship dilemmas, will return for its second season on Friday, Sept. 20 at 10:00 and 10:30 PM, ET/PT. The half-hour, 10-episode series stars real-life married couple Emily Axford and Brian Murphy, two comedians who appear in the show as heightened versions of themselves trying to figure out this thing called love. In its second season, HOT DATE welcomes a swipe-right list of guest stars including Randall Park ('Always Be My Maybe,' 'Fresh Off the Boat'), Margaret Cho ('Drop Dead Diva,' '30 Rock') and Thomas Lennon ('Reno 911,' 'The Odd Couple').

Writer/actress/cabaret performer Shelly Goldstein is  very popular worldwide and is in a constant state of motion. In our interview she talks about her work and how she cannot live without it. Not a moment passes without a sprinkling of her extraordinary humor. First, tell our readers about your background. How did you get interested in comedy and then musical cabaret?

SundanceTV released the official key art and a new teaser for season two of the critically acclaimed original dramedy This Close, premiering on Thursday, September 12 at 9:00p.m. PT/midnight ET. The expanded second season, featuring eight, half-hour episodes, will air with two back-to-back episodes on Thursday, September 12 and Friday, September 13, and the following week on Thursday, September 19 and Friday, September 20. AMC Networks announced today from the Television Critics' Association (TCA) Press Tour premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including IFC's Baroness von Sketch Show, which has been picked up for a fifth season, and programming events, including AMC's FearFest and newly expanded Best Christmas Ever holiday celebration, which will air across all of AMC Networks.

Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF) announces today the film lineup for its 22nd edition: THE GATHERING.
