On September 9, 2016, GRAMMY-nominated composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and longtime Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra member Ted Nash will release Presidential Suite: Eight Variations On Freedom, his debut on Motéma Music.

Jazz at Lincoln Center celebrates International Jazz Appreciation Month with a diverse line-up of artists throughout Frederick P. Rose Hall, the "House of Swing." The exciting offerings in April include an homage to Broadway composers with jazz-oriented roots, sets celebrating International Jazz Day and Duke Ellington's birthday, and an historic showcase of Sy Oliver arrangements performed only once in its entirety in nearly 30 years.

The world-renowned Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis and guest vocalist Kate Davis will debut arrangements of tunes from Broadway's most beloved productions including 'Annie Get Your Gun,' 'South Pacific,' 'West Side Story,' 'Fiddler On The Roof,' 'The Producers' in a special concert event entitled World on a String: Swinging Songs of Broadway. New York City Center's 11th annual Fall for Dance Festival will feature free performances in Central Park and 24 acclaimed dance companies and artists from around the world, in six unique programs in September and October 2014. In keeping with the Festival's commitment to make dance accessible to everyone, the Festival will kick off with two FREE evenings of dance at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, in association with The Public Theater, today and tomorrow, September 12 and 13 (rain date, September 14) and will continue at City Center from October 8 - October 19 with all tickets at $15. The Festival's many free pre-show events will include dance lessons and panels by choreographers, artists and dance educators. Tickets will go on sale Sunday, September 14 at 11 a.m.

Today, on the eve of 112th anniversary of Duke Ellington's birth, New York City Center and Jazz at Lincoln Center are pleased to announce a new producing partnership that will combine the organizations' specialties: musical theater and jazz.

Carla Cook, Brandon Victor Dixon, Jared Grimes and Adriane Lenox have been cast in Duke Ellington's Cotton Club Parade, opening November 18 at New York City Center.
