Skeleton Rep(resents) will present Caroline Bennett's DEVICES OF TORTURE directed by Ria T. DiLullo as part of the New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC (638 Washington Street, Corner of Charles St.) October 13-22. Performances will be Saturday, October 13 at 8:45pm, Monday, October 15 at 9:45pm, Saturday, October 20 at 6:30pm, Sunday, October 21 at 5:30pm, and Monday, October 22 at 9pm. Freedom Tongues and Naiad Productions in association with Park Theatre are proud to present Bullet Hole by Gloria Williams, which is set to be performed at Park Theatre from 2nd to 27th October during Black History Month. Bullet Hole explores the relationship between three Black, British born women who are survivors of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). The piece explores the physical, mental and emotional effects this practice causes and shines a light on the institutions in Britain that can offer support. At its heart, Bullet Hole is a story of hope, love and human rights, played by an all-female cast.
Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater offers the perfect end to a delicious season: Raging Skillet, by Jacques Lamarre, August 22 to September 15. Based on "The Raging Skillet: The True Life Adventures of Chef Rossi, A Memoir with Recipes," Raging Skillet is directed by Sasha Bratt, with Shanel Sparr as Chef Rossi, Kathryn Kates as her mom, and Michael Patrick Trimm as DJ Skillit.
