UATG Theatre presents LETTICE AND LOVAGE by Peter Shaffer, directed by Angela Short, playing the Little Theatre, The Cloisters, University of Adelaide, Wed-Sat 4-7 & 11-14 October 2017 at 7.30pm.

Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber have announced the first production in its 2017 2018 season of Chicago's hit musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway 1939, hosted by Rob Lindley, directed by Keely Vasquez with music direction by David Fiorello, is Monday, Oct. 23 at Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave in Skokie and Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the Uptown Underground, 4707 N. Broadway at 7:30 p.m.

On this week's THE VIEW, host Whoopi Goldberg was joined by Kathy Najimy, Beth Fowler, and composer Marc Shaiman for a special 25th Anniversary celebration of the 1992 musical film SISTER ACT.

The Burbank International Film Festival today announced official program selections for the 9th Annual edition of the festival set for Wednesday, September 6th, through Sunday, September 10th, 2017. 

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will welcome the "Sunday Morning Fever" this fall when its production of the Heavenly musical comedy Sister Act takes to the stage beginning September 8th.

The Tony Award-nominated comedy, 'Lettice and Lovage,' opens Westport Country Playhouse's 87th Season, written by Peter Shaffer, author of 'Amadeus,' and directed by Mark Lamos, Playhouse artistic director. History need never be dull.

Lettice Douffet (Felicity Kendal), a tour guide at Fustian House, has inherited her mother's penchant for theatricality. This inclination leads her to filling the gaps in the boring history of the stately home with embellishments and imaginative stories. Her dismissal by her supervisor Lotte Schoen (Maureen Lipman) oddly marks the start of a timid friendship that will develop into a fascinating adventure for the two lonely women.

Tickets are now on sale for all 22 performances in the 13th season of The Princeton Festival (www.princetonfestival.org), which runs June 3-25.
