Emma Hunton Joins GAY BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN Readings

Producer Eric S. Goldman has announced that Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening - Broadway; Rent - Off Broadway; Next to Normal - First National Tour) will be joining Max Von Essen in the two industry readings of Billy Butler's GAY BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN, on Monday, February 4th at 6pm & Tuesday, February 5th at 11am at the 45th Street Theatre, in preparation for a future Off-Broadway run. The readings are produced in association with aka Studio Productions, Louis Hobson and Seattle's Balagan Theatre. The production is directed by award winning director Rachel Klein. Aaron Grant serves as Executive Producer with Kelvin Productions as General Manager.

Noted Entertainment attorney, Eric S. Goldman, will present two industry readings of Billy Butler's GAY BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN, on Monday, February 4th at 6pm & Tuesday, February 5th at 11am at the 45th Street Theatre, in preparation for a future Off-Broadway run. The readings are produced in association with aka Studio Productions, Louis Hobson and Seattle's Balagan Theatre. The production is directed by award winning director Rachel Klein "the Mistress of the Macabre" (FlavorPill Magazine). The iStar Theatre Lab's Producing Artistic Director Tony Spinosa and Managing Director Laura Bultman, announced today announced final casting for Gay Bride of Frankenstein a new musical by Billy Butler and Dane Leeman. The musical which will be directed by 2011 New York Innovative Theatre (IT Award) nominee Rachel Klein is part of iStar Theatre Lab's inaugural season scheduled to take place July 16th through August 5th in New York City.

Pop/rock musical, Gay Bride of Frankenstein which recently closed a successful out of town run was back in NYC for a one night only industry concert reading at Joe's Pub on Tuesday, January 25 at 7:00 pm. Starring Louis Hobson, who played the role of Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine in Next to Normal since the musical's pre-Broadway engagement at Arena Stage in 2008. The concert also featured the following cast members from the out of town run: Ashley Kate Adams (reprising her role from NYMF), Megan Kane, Wade Elkins, Derek Carley, Joshua Moore, Bradley Gale, Britt Mack and Maggie Politi. Directed by Igor Goldin and musically directed by Patrick Dorow. The book was written by Dane Leeman, who also narrated the night and Billy Butler. Music and lyrics by Billy Butler.
