Broadway Sessions is thrilled to welcome Carly Jibson, the cast of The Gay Bride of Frankenstein, F. Michael Haynie and Bertha Mason Thursday, April 21st.

Carly Jibson has starred on Broadway in Hairspray (Tracy Turnblad) and Cry Baby (Pepper). Billy Butler and his band the Monster Makers' pop/rock musical hit GayBride of Frankenstein will be performed in concert Sunday April 24th at Joe's Pub at 7:30 pm. Joining Butler to perform a preview of the concert Thursday night will be Ashley Kate Adams (La Cage Aux Folles), Maggie Politi, Megan Kane, Joshua Moore, Wade Elkins, Derek Carley and Bradley D. Gale. Actor/Singer F. Michael Haynie has appeared Off-Broadway in We the People:America Rocks! and Band Geeks at The Goodspeed Opera House. Bertha Mason, the pie baking, musical theater loving, midwestern drag star, will be on hand to pass out homemade treats and test your musical savvy.

Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. It is hosted by Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) and features composer/musical director Will Van Dyke (The Addams Family) on piano. The musical theater themed evening takes place every Thursday night at The Midtown Theater (163 west 46th street inside the HA! comedy club).

Doors open at 10:30 pm with showtime at 11pm and open mic going til 2 am. There is no cover charge. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
