Louis C.K., one of the most honest and respected comedic voices of his generation, has found success in both television and film as well as on the live stage. On Friday, March 8, he will bring his routine to the MGM Grand Garden Arena for a special one-night appearance. The show is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

The Drama Desk Award-winning Celebrity Autobiography performs in San Francisco tonight, February 9 at 8pm and Sunday, February 10 at 5pm, at Marines' Memorial Theatre as part of SF Sketchfest.

Part of my job is to be a critic, so I criticize positively, and sometimes negatively, the shows that I get to see. But part of my job is also to report, and when an audience responds enthusiastically to a show, whether I find fault with it or not, I have to be honest and make mention of that fact. Such is the case with the musical remake of the 1994 movie PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT, which I think is a great film. Here, it's been turned into a so-so jukebox musical, filled with familiar tunes, mostly from the disco era, but also including some country tunes, a few 80's numbers, and a couple of 60's songs.

Jennifer Lopez is topping the charts again as the number one celebrity perfumista. 99Perfume, an online perfume retailer, released a statement claiming J-Lo has surpassed all competitors in the race to be the most successful celebrity in designer fragrances. Lopez's 'Glow Series' - particularly her Blue Glow Perfume for Women - is the biggest seller among all of the celebrity fragrance lines, selling $11.5 million in 2012 according to Euromonitor International.

Warner/Chappell Music, the global music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, today announced that it has extended its partnership with superstar Barry Gibb. Evita concluded its Broadway run on Saturday night, January 26, and according to Bloomberg.com the show failed to recoup its initial investment. The production, which cost $9.6 million would have had to run for 63 weeks to break even- instead it closed after 46 weeks.
