The splendour and riches of the Early Renaissance come to life at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) from March 16 to June 16, 2013, in a large-scale exhibition of rare Florentine masterpieces that have never before been shown in Canada. Presented in partnership with the world renowned J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, Revealing the Early Renaissance: Stories and Secrets in Florentine Art brings together an unrivalled collection of more than 90 rare paintings, manuscripts, sculptures and stained glass from the 14th century to show how the artists of one city gave birth to the Renaissance.

In this adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale 'The Girl Without Hands,' narrated by Satan himself, a father accidentally sells his daughter to the Devil. When our heroine cleverly escapes, a lyrical love story laced with devilish humor unfolds. The production features a bluegrass score by longtime Kneehigh composer Stu Barker, performed by live musicians and the cast.

The Postal Service's June 14 show at Brooklyn's Barclays Center sold out within hours of going on sale last Friday. Due to overwhelming demand, a second show at the venue has been added on June 15. Pre-sales will begin on Friday, February 15 at 10am ET and run through Saturday, February 16 at 12pm ET. Public on-sale will begin on Saturday Feb 16 at 12pm ET.
Author Linda Maria Frank is presenting the program, 'So You Want to Write a Story: A Conversation with Two Authors', with colleague Karen Bonnet at the Hampton Bays Public Library. This program allows aspiring authors to move from the world of an idea for a book to a published book, while keeping yourself relatively sane.
