STILL READY: THE SONGS OF ROB ROKICKI at New York Musical Festival

Broadway favorites Luca Padovan, Tracee Beazer, and Kathleen Monteleone will join composer Rob Rokicki for two special NYMF concert events July 31 st and August 2 nd . Rob's music has been described by The New York Times as "sassy" and "energetic" and 'Intelligent, inspired and incredibly relatable' by frequent collaborator Joe Iconis.

Rob Rokicki, award-winning composer of the Off-Broadway hit THE LIGHTNING THIEF, is bringing his brand of smart musical theatre rock to The Laurie Beechman Theatre for a one-night-only concert, 'Back to the Beech.' The show will feature Broadway friends and special guests on April 4 at 7 p.m.

Playhouse on Park to Open Young Audience Series with THE THREE LITTLE PIGS

Have you heard? Everyone over at Playhouse on Park is squealing with excitement over the first Season Seven children's show, The Three Little Pigs! The whole family will be tickled pink by this retelling of a classic children's story. Opening night is October 31 at 1pm and 4pm.

BWW Reviews: American Ballet Theatre Delights With Gallic-Flavored Highjinks in DON QUIXOTE

On the rain-soaked evening of May 16th 2014, ABT delivered a mood-boosting performance of 'Don Quixote' for a full house of grateful dancegoers at the Metropolitan Opera House in Lincoln Center. Dazzling Gallic-flavored dancing and full-throttle comedy to the music of Minkus helped to push dire flash flood warnings out of the minds of many in the audience. I heard plenty of comments during intermissions by people who said that driving in from the suburbs or sloshing through sidewalk puddles was more than worth the trouble. I agreed!
