Chernus, DeHaan, Gann Cast In Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's THE ALIENS

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater will conclude its 15th Anniversary season with the world premiere of The Aliens, by Annie Baker (Circle Mirror Transformation, Body Awareness). Directed by Sam Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation, Rag and Bone), performances begin Wednesday, April 14th, 2010. Opening night is Thursday, April 22nd at 7pm. The show is scheduled to run through Sunday, May 23rd, 2010.

The Flea Theater presents Jeremy Bloom's production of LA BOHEME (SPOKEN), based on La bohème by Giacomo Puccini, adapted by Brian Rady, conceived and directed by Jeremy Bloom. LA BOHEME (SPOKEN) will play a 1-week limited engagement at The Flea Theater (41 White Street, New York, NY 10013). Performances begin Wednesday, March 10th through Saturday, March 13th.

Soho Rep's Artistic Director Sarah Benson has announced that the company's world-premiere of the newest work from Young Jean Lee's Theater Company, LEAR, will have 5 performances added, extending it now through February 6 at Soho Rep (46 Walker St.) in Manhattan. Directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin ([sic], eight seasons as Artistic Director of Soho Rep), the production opened Wednesday, December 2. Originally set to run through Sunday, December 13, the limited engagement will now play through Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the theater company's Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street). This date represents the latest extension possible for the show.
