Lynn Redgrave died yesterday, May 3, at the age of 67. She appeared at the Alley Theatre in 1994 with her one woman show Shakespeare For My Father. Her death comes just a month after the death of her older brother, Corin Redgrave. She was the daughter of Sir Michael Redgrave and is survived by sister Vanessa Redgrave, a son Ben, and daughters Pema and Annabel.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of Lynn Redgrave, who died yesterday at age 67. The marquees of Broadway theatres in New York will be dimmed in her memory on Tuesday, May 4th, at exactly 7:00pm for one minute.

In a statement, her children said, 'Our beloved mother Lynn Rachel passed away peacefully after a seven year journey with breast cancer. She lived, loved and worked harder than ever before. The endless memories she created as a mother, grandmother, writer, actor and friend will sustain us for the rest of our lives. Our entire family asks for privacy through this difficult time.'
