Get the inside scoop!  Due to popular demand, The York Theatre Company, as part of its acclaimed Developmental Readings Series, will present the return one-night performance of Call My Publicist! - The Starry Education of a Broadway Press Agent, written and performed by Joshua Ellis and directed by Gretchen Cryer, on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).  The reading is open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.

THE SUBMARINE SHOW, created and performed by Emmy Award winner Slater Penney and former Cirque du Soleil performer Jaron Hollander, will make its New York premiere in the 2015 New York International Fringe Festival.

Single Room Occupancy, a new pop/rock comedy musical will be presented as part of the 2015 New York International Fringe Festival on August 14, 17, 20, 21 and 27.  Written by and starring popular theatre, film and television actor  Ben Rauch (HBO's Girls, Jersey Boys-The Movie, Gossip Girl), Single Room Occupancy has lyrics by Gaby Gold, Rory Scholl, and Ben Rauch, set design by You-Shin Chen, lighting design by Suzanne Immarigeon, sound design by Joshua D. Reid, choreography by Jebbel Arce, musical direction by Noriko Sunamoto  and will be directed by Joey Murray. The musical will run at the Lynn Redgrave Theatre at Culture Project (Venue #13), 45 Bleecker Street (at Lafayette) for five shows only.

A haunting new world premiere drama, THE REPORT, will be presented August 15 - 28 in the New York International Fringe Festival. Based on the novel by Jessica Francis Kane, THE REPORT is adapted by Martin Casella, whose THE IRISH CURSE earned the Outstanding Playwriting Award in the 2005 FringeNYC and went on to a highly acclaimed Off-Broadway run. The director is Alan Muraoka, whose credits include FALSETTOLAND (NAATCO), KARAOKE STORIES and 'Sesame Street.'

The Tony-nominated Mirror Repertory Company - whose founders and early supporters include the late actresses Eva Le Gallienne and Geraldine Page along with Paul Newman, Dustin Hoffman and Al Pacino - will present its 10th annual summer season with the Greensboro Arts Alliance in Greensboro, Vermont, with a repertory of 4 plays and musicals in alternating repertory July 23-August 24 , it has been announced by Sabra Jones, the company's artistic director.

The New York International Fringe Festival and CitySalt Theatricals present The Crack in the Ceiling starring Josh Grisetti* (It Shoulda Been You), Kristy Cates* (Wicked, original cast), and Nicky Torchia* (Kinky Boots),. Performances begin Saturday August 15th at 8:30pm at The Lynn Redgrave Theatre (Venue #13) - 45 Bleeker Street. Created and written by James Harvey with direction by Stephen Tyler Davis. The Old Globe has announced an extra-special appearance-an hour-long interview/conversation with one of America's great comic playwrights, Ken Ludwig, familiar to millions for Lend Me a Tenor and Crazy for You-on Sunday, July 26 at 5:30 p.m. prior to the 7:00 p.m. preview of his new and very popular play, Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery.

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival announces the opening of its 34th Season with Commander tonight, July 10 at 8 p.m. at the Vagabond Players at 806 S Broadway in Fells Point. Written by Mario Correa and directed by Chelsea Dove, Commander tells the story of the first openly gay man to run for the office of President of the United States.

She-Rantulas Theatre Company is proud to announce the New York premiere of She-Rantulas From Outer Space - in 3D!, a gender-bending comedy of horrors by Ruff Yeager and Phil Johnson, that The San Diego Union-Tribune calls "a smart, wonderfully detailed and very funny mash up of '50s B horror movies, McCarthy-era hysteria and Charles Busch drag comedies," as part of this summer's New York International Fringe Festival. Performances begin on Friday, August 14 (through August 23) at the Lynn Redgrave Theatre @ Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street @ Lafayette Street).

From the producers of NIRBHAYA, The Exonerated, Guantanamo and Sarah Jones' Bridge & Tunnel, Culture Project along with Rosie O'Donnell will present the world premiere of MotherStruck written and performed by Staceyann Chin and directed by Cynthia Nixon, beginning Thursday, September 24th, 2015 at Culture Project's Lynn Redgrave Theater.   Opening Night is set for Wednesday, October 7th.

THE GOLD, a new musical featuring a book by Andrea Lepcio & Philip Yosowitz and music and lyrics by Philip Yosowitz, will be presented in the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival Developmental Reading Series.

The complete cast and creative team have been announced for the West Coast Premiere of Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, a new work by one of America's great comic playwrights, familiar to millions for Lend Me a Tenor and Crazy for You. Baskerville is directed by Josh Rhodes, who previously choreographed the Globe's productions of Bright Star and Working, as well as Broadway's It Shoulda Been You, First Date, and Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella. The Old Globe engagement will begin performances on July 24, with opening night on Thursday, July 30 at 8:00 p.m., in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Although originally scheduled to run through August 23, Baskerville has been extended by popular demand through August 30, 2015!

?RAIN PRYOR's one-woman autobiographical play, FRIED CHICKEN & LATKES, will have its World Premiere at Dr. Barbara Ann Teer's National Black Theatre (NBT) in Harlem, running Tuesday, June 2, through Sunday, June 28. Directed by Kamilah Forbes, this Limited Off-Broadway run is the actress-writer-comedian's funny take on growing up Black & Jewish as the daughter of one of the world's most beloved & iconic funny men, comic genius Richard Pryor.

Curio Theatre Company finishes its 10th Anniversary Season with Michael Frayn's hilarious theatre satire, Noises Off. The show runs April 30-May 30. Performances are Thursdays, Todays, and Saturdays, at 8 p.m. Opening Night is Today, May 8 at 8 p.m.
