The New York Musical Theatre Festival and the Chaplin Corporation present BEHIND THE LIMELIGHT, a new musical about the life and art of Charlie Chaplin by Christopher Curtis. Directed by Michael Unger, BEHIND THE LIMELIGHT features a distinguished cast that includes Luther Creek (Rent, Urinetown) as Chaplin, as well as Andrea McArdle (Tony Award nominee for Annie, Beauty and the Beast), Janet Metz (Falsettoland, Bingo:The Musical) and Garrett Long (The Spitfire Grill), among others.

Daphne Rubin-Vega, Eden Espinosa, Amy Spanger and more will perform as part of the benefit 'Songs for Soraya' on August 27th

Members of the cast of Broadway's Rent, The Wedding Singer, Avenue Q, Wicked, Tarzan and Jersey Boys will be appearing in Songs for Soraya, a special benefit concert for 9 year-old Soroya Jackson.

On Thursday June 1st, Josephine Baker's adopted son Jean-Claude Baker held a celebratory birthday luncheon in the late chanteuse's honor, and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the festivities!

A few days before the 10th anniversary of Rent, on April 24th, a benefit concert of the landmark Jonathan Larson musical was held at the Nederlander Theatre. BroadwayWorld was there to bring you up close and person on the red carpet for this once in a lifetime event!

$2,972,721.15 was raised for BC/EFA, and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the event and celebration!

On December 11th, stars such as Max Von Essen, Julia Murney and Anthony Rapp will perform in the holiday concert A Miracle on 13th Street

On December 19th at 7pm, at Joe's Pub, Broadway helped ringed in the season with a one-night-only concert of new holiday songs as well as invigorating takes on some favorite seasonal tuners.
