After a sold-out run at the Apollo Theater Salon Series, internationally acclaimed Burnt Sugar Arkestra, Tony nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Color Purple, Lion King and Unchain My Heart) and Director Patricia McGregor (Fela!) present a one-night only tribute concert of Indomitable: James Brown The Music and The Man on Friday, December 17, 2010.

SummerStage has announced the continuation of their first theater season with American Schemes, written by Radha Blank and Directed by Charlotte L. Brathwaite. This show is a part of SummerStage's summer-long FREE theater program and will take place on Friday, July 2nd and Saturday July 3rd at St. Mary's Park, Bronx and Friday, July 9th at Crotona Park, Bronx at 8:00 p.m.

This show is a part of SummerStage's summer-long FREE theater program and will take place on Friday, June 11th and Saturday June 12th at Von King Park in Brooklyn and Friday, June 18th and Saturday, June 19th at Betsy Head Park, Brooklyn at 8:00 p.m.

CALIGULA MAXIMUS at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre completes its twice Extended Run on April 17th with a Closing Night Party sponsored by Penthouse Magazine. Special guests will include Victoria 'Dr. Z' Zdrok (Pet of The Year, 2004, clinical psychologist, PhD Drexel University), Penthouse Pet Ryan Keely (October 2009), Fetish model Darzenia and Guns N' Roses guitarist Bumblefoot. The party will take place on the set when the curtain comes down. Penthouse is donating complimentary issues of the magazines while supplies last.

Stephen Pevner Joins CALIGULA MAXIMUS as Lead Producer

Stephen Pevner joins producers Hammerstein Weiner LLC, Christopher McElroen, Alfred Preisser, and Kingsize USA, as lead producer of CALIGULA MAXIMUS, currently playing at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre through April 17th.

CALIGULA MAXIMUS Extends Run Thru 4/10 at La MaMa’s Ellen Stewart Theatre

The Off Broadway production of Alfred Preisser and Randy Weiner's CALIGULA MAXIMUS, at the Ellen Stewart Theatre, will be extended for one additional week to meet audience demand. CALIGULA MAXIMUS begins previews at the Ellen Stewart Theatre, 66 E. 4th St, in New York on March 12th and has been extended through April 10th. Opening night is set for March 19th, with scheduled performances on Thursday and Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 8pm and 10pm.
