The Theatre Group at SBCC is excited to announce the 2018-2019 season of plays.  GREASE, THE GAME'S AFOOT, HARVEY and SIGNIFICANT OTHER. 

Each summer, Puttin' on Productions (POPS) produces a professional musical theater experience featuring local young actors and students, ages 8-20. This year POPS proudly presents the musical theater production, Seussical, The Musical. Auditions will be held on Friday, March 23 at 6:00pm and March 24 at 2:00pm. Call backs will be March 25 at 9:00am. Additional auditions times can be offered by request. All those auditioning are guaranteed a placement.

Coachella Valley Repertory (CVRep) has been nominated for 29 Desert Theatre League star awards for the 2015-16 season. It has just obtained an option on the IMAX theater on Route 111 in Cathedral City. It has also announced its 2016-17 season.

Charles Busch's one-act comedy, THE DIVINE SISTER, appearing at the Desert Rose Playhouse, in Rancho Mirage, is a divine parody of nun movies and a zany comedy. It is almost impossible to describe the over-the-top story, but the production is hilarious and well worth seeing.
