HOT MESS, a romantic comedy by Dan Rothenberg (Suburban Boy; Regretrosexual) and Colleen Crabtree (The Tragic and Horrible Life of the Singing Nun, The Groundlings), and directed by Jonathan Silverstein (tick, tick...BOOM; John & Jen; The Temperamentals), will play The Jerry Orbach Theater at The Theater Center (1627 Broadway at 50th Street) beginning November 7th and opening on November 16th, it was announced today by producers Jay Alix and Una Jackman.

New York's funniest show, Celebrity Autobiography: THE 2017 EDITION had two special Hamptons shows on August 25 at Guild Hall and also has an NYC show tonight, August 28 at 8pm at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street). The August 25th Hamptons cast featured Brooke Shields, Susan Lucci, Christie Brinkley, Mario Cantone, Ali Wentworth, five-time Emmy-winner Alan Zweibel, Scott Adsit, Eugene Pack and Dayle Reyfel. The Actors Fund, the national human services organization that helps everyone in performing arts and entertainment in times of need, crisis or transition, just held its Annual Gala last night, May 8, 2017. The evening celebrated Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Danny DeVito, two-time Academy Award winner Sally Field, outstanding corporate leader Jo Ann Jenkins, CEO of AARP and 21-time Tony Award-winning theatrical director and producer Harold Prince. Mr. DeVito, Ms. Field and Ms. Jenkins were awarded The Actors Fund's Medal of Honor. Mr. Prince received The Actors Fund's Lifetime Achievement Award.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents Mark Ruffalo, Tony Shalhoub, Jessica Hecht and Danny DeVito in a new Broadway production of Arthur Miller's The Price, directed by Steppenwolf Theatre Company co-founder, Terry Kinney. Arthur Miller's The Price opened officially just last night, March 16, 2017. This is a limited engagement through May 7, 2017 on Broadway at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). 

The world premiere of Ngozi Anyanwu's new play 'Good Grief' opened at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre on Sunday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. Directed by Patricia McGregor, Anyanwu also performs in 'Good Grief,' which runs through March 26, 2017. Just last night, A Bronx Tale opened at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48thStreet). The new musical, featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo, began performances on Thursday, November 3. Stars of stage and screen Gina Gershon and Lucy DeVito have been added to the cast of New York's Celebrity Autobiography for the upcoming NYC performance on November 21 at 7pm at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street).

92nd Street Y, in association with Daryl Roth, announced today that the beloved play Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which ran Off Broadway from September 2009 through March 2012, will return for one-night-only on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 8 PM at the 92Y's Kaufmann Concert Hall. 

The celebrities were both on and off stage at the Triad as "New York's funniest show Celebrity Autobiography turned another page at the Triad last night and BroadwayWorld was there.
