New York (September 15, 2015) — Distinguished comedians and musicians will unite for the ninth annual Stand Up for Heroes event at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, Tuesday, Nov. 10. Chris Botti, Seth Meyers, John Oliver, Ray Romano, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart, and other surprise guests will take the stage to perform for an audience that includes some of the brave military men and women who have served this country, to raise awareness and funds to support the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF).

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus, presents the first offering of its 2015/16 OBERON Presents series - GHOST QUARTET, with Music, Lyrics, & Text by Dave Malloy, Developed & Arranged by Ghost Quartet, and Directed by Annie Tippe. Performances run September 9, 10, and 11 at 7:30PM, September 12 at 4PM and 7:30PM at OBERON, 2 Arrow Street, Cambridge.

Marking its 12th year, the New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), presented in association with Comedy Central, announced its 2015 line-up today. Expanding to six days and running from November 10 -15, the festival will feature some of comedy's biggest stars performing in New York City's most prestigious venues, including the Beacon Theatre, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, The Theater at MSG, Town Hall and the 92nd Street Y.

Tony nominee Stewart, known to many as Star Trek's 'Captain Jean-Luc Picard', has graced the New York stage in A Life in the Theatre, Macbeth, The Caretaker, A Christmas Carol, The Ride Down Mt. Morgan, The Tempest, A Christmas Carol and A Midsummer Night's Dream. After a start with the RSC, Stewart went on to appear in West End productions of Antony and Cleopatra, Macbeth, Hamlet and many more.
