?Broadway In Chicago and the Broadway community mourn the loss of Chairman of the Nederlander Organization, theatre owner/operator, producer and presenter James M. Nederlander, who passed away on July 25 at age 94 by honoring the Broadway tradition of dimming the marquee lights.

Broadway In Chicago and The PrivateBank lit the new marquee of The PrivateBank Theatre at 18 W. Broadway In Chicago and The PrivateBank today announced a new long-run strategic partnership that will rename what many refer to as a crown jewel of the Chicago Theatre District, at 18 W. Monroe, to THE PRIVATEBANK THEATRE, currently billed as the Bank of America Theatre.

The 27th Annual Awards for Excellence in the Arts, held on Monday, November 9th, at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, raised funds for scholarships and celebrated talented artists and visionaries who came together in support of Theatre School students.

In Chicago last night (November 9), two-time Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Andre De Shields was honored by The Theatre School at DePaul University with the 2015 Award for Excellence in the Arts. The 27th Annual Awards for Excellence in the Arts Gala, which also honored Broadway In Chicago President Lou Raizin and Theatre School alumna Karen Aldridge, was held in the Atlantic Ballroom of the Radisson Blue Aqua Hotel. The Theatre School at DePaul University (John Culbert, Dean) is pleased to present The 2015 Awards for Excellence in the Arts gala on Monday, November 9, 2015, in the Atlantic Ballroom of the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel.
