Immediately following ACT's Mainstage production of Das Barbecü, Seattle's favorite country-tonk band Purty Mouth will present The Weddin' Sangers as the latest Central Heating Lab companion piece. Audiences can mosey from Das Barbecü (July 31-September 6) in ACT's Falls Theatre straight into a hilarious one-hour revue in the Bullitt Cabaret.

The induction and awards dinner is scheduled for Thursday, June 18 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Special award honorees will be announced at a later date.

Broadway's most talked about new musical and the biggest Tony Award-winner in years is coming to Cleveland. Spring Awakening, the 8-time Tony Award? winning Broadway musical, will open at PlayhouseSquare's PalaceTheatre and play for 16 performances, March 3-15. Spring Awakening is part of the KeyBank Broadway Series at PlayhouseSquare. Spring Awakening swept the 2007 Tony Awards? winning eight out of its eleven nominations, including Best Musical, Best Director (Michael Mayer), Best Book (Steven Sater), Best Choreography (Bill T. Jones), Best Orchestrations (Duncan Sheik), Best Lighting Design (Kevin Adams), Best Featured Actor (John Gallagher Jr.).

Curtain times for the U.S. Bank Broadway Series presentation are Tuesdays through Fridays at 8 p.m.; Saturdays at 2 & 8 p.m.; Sunday, February 15 at 2 & 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, February 22 at 2 p.m. There is also a weekday matinee on Thursday, February 19 at 1 p.m.

Author Ellis Nassour hosted an event to celebrate his book, Honky Tonk Angel: The Intimate Story of Patsy Cline, updated edition (Chicago Review Press, 2008), and to honor the birthday and life of a country music legend. Saddle up for a 1-hr ride through lovin', lyin', cheatin' & drinkin' with tunes made famous by Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline and others. Moonshine Martinis: A 60s & 70s Country Cabaret will be performed on Wednesday, September 17 @ 7:00pm and Tuesday, September 30 @ 7:00pm at Don't Tell Mama.
