Moonshine Martinis: A 60s & 70s Country Cabaret is takes a look at city life through the eyes of a country girl. After spending 10 years in the city, Shannon takes a look at how country music influenced (and still influences) her life. Old country favorites and more obscure pieces will cover a wide range of subject matter from love with "If We're Not Back in Love by Monday" to heartbreak with "She's Got You". Outlaw country including the rambling "Mama Tried" will give way to southern gospel with "Peace in the Valley". There are also pieces focusing on humor, feminism, relationships and politics.

Shannon Brown: Shannon's musical background began at 5 when she started playing piano. Over the next 13 years she portaryed many classic musical theater roles including Tzeitel in "Fiddler on the Roof", Lucy in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", and her favorite, The Wicked Witch of the West in "The Wizard of Oz". Shannon received a BFA in Theatre from Marshall University in Huntington, WV where she portrayed Ann in "1940's Radio Hour", Dotty in "Noises Off!", and Lily Pepper in "Red Peppers". She has performed regionally with Lincoln Ampitheatre and The Lost Colony, and toured Japan as featured singer in "Country Western Jamboree". In New York, Shannon has acted in productions with Goldmine Theatre, Terrapin Troupe, and 13th Street Repertory Theatre. She has performed stand-up comedy at Gotham Comedy Club and Broadway Comedy Club. As a pianist, Shannon has played in orchestras for productions of "Into The Woods", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", and "No,No, Nanette".
