The 2011 Muny Season kicked off this week with the Muny premiere of LEGALLY BLONDE (June 20 - 26). Next, the Cole Porter favorite KISS ME, KATE (June 27 - July 3) will grace the stage. Following will be the Muny and St. Louis premiere of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID (July 6 - 14), opening Wednesday, and featuring 2 extra performances! Tapping its way across the Muny stage next will be SINGIN' IN THE RAIN (July 18 - 24). Complete casting for KISS ME, KATE has been announced!

Colony Theater Presents THE ALL NIGHT STRUT! Closes 5/1

The Colony Theatre Company is excited to present the fifth and final production of its 36th season, the classy, sassy musical, THE ALL NIGHT STRUT!, conceived by Fran Charnas, directed & choreographed by Murphy Cross and Paul Kreppel (Jay Johnson: The Two and Only!) with musical direction by Dean Mora. THE ALL NIGHT STRUT! will close on Sunday, May 1 at The Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) adjacent to the Burbank Town Center.

Amy Adams to Star as Lois Lane in SUPERMAN Film

Multiple Oscar nominee Amy Adams ('Enchanted,' 'The Fighter,' 'Night at the Museum 2') will play journalist Lois Lane in the upcoming remake of Warner Bros. Pictures' 'Superman' according to reports from The Los Angeles Times.

The Relevant Stage presents the Broadway classic 'Kiss Me, Kate' choreographed by Marisa Martinez and Keenon Hooks, with costume design by Kara McLeod, February 17 - 28 runs Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 and 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 and 7:00 p.m. at The Warner Grand Theatre 478 West Sixth Street, San Pedro. General admission tickets are: $20 adult, $15 senior (55+)/college student, and $5 18 and under; prestige seating (first five rows, reserved seat) $30 adult, $25 senior/college student, and $10, 18 and under. In today's New York Post, columnist Michael Riedel notes that several New York producers have been down to see the show and that 'Superman' will surely have a life beyond Dallas, although some rights issues have to be cleared with DC Comics if it's to return to Broadway. As the Dallas Theater Center discovered, the show has a built-in audience.'
