Jayne Houdyshell, who received a Tony nomination for her performance in Well, will join the Broadway company of the smash-hit musical Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre as Madame Morrible beginning Tuesday, November 14
Ana Gasteyer, who received critical acclaim when she originated the role of Elphaba in the Chicago production of WICKED, will be joining the Broadway company of the smash-hit musical at the Gershwin Theatre (222 W. 51st St.) beginning Tuesday, October 10 for a thirteen-week limited engagement (through January 7).
On August 8th, Logan Lipton succeeded Robb Sapp as enamoured munchkin Boq, while Steven Skybell replaced Sean McCourt as the kind-hearted Dr. Dillamond in Broadway's Wicked
Shoshana Bean and Megan Hilty--who respectively played Elphaba and Glinda on Broadway--will once again take on those roles for three stops in the current Wicked tour

Beginning March 8 (when performances begin at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati), Julia Murney will assume the role of Elphaba, Alma Cuervo will become Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin will step into the role of the Wizard, Sebastian Arcelus will be Fiyero, and Jennifer Waldman will be Nessarose. Beginning March 28 (when the show will be playing at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia), K. Todd Freeman assumes the role of Dr. Dillamond.
After announcing return engagements to Toronto and Denver, the smash touring production of Wicked will play Houston and Dallas for second stints in 2007
The North American tour of Wicked, starring Stephanie J. Block and Kendra Kassebaum, will head back to engagments in Denver and Toronto next year and in 2007
The national tour of Wicked has sold out its Denver run, which will last from September 16th through October 2nd; rush lottery will be available, however
