For two shows only, alumni stars and up-and-coming talent will come together to celebrate the "Big 10" school that trained them and fostered their love for musical theatre: The University of Michigan. The show will take place on Sunday, August 13 at 7:30PM and 10:00PM at The Metropolitan Room, Manhattan's newest high-end cabaret and jazz nightclub.

Bob McGrath, proud University of Michigan alum and star of "Sesame Street," is the evening's host. A starry gathering of U of M alumni talent will be on-hand to perform, including Broadway's Daniel Reichard (Jersey Boys), Jeff Marx (Tony Award-winning composer of Avenue Q), Celia Keenan-Bolger (Tony Award nominee for 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and Barrett Foa and Todd Buonopane (both of ...Spelling Bee).

The program comprises works written by U of M alumni lyricists and composers Gary Adler (Altar Boyz), Nick Blaemire (Ass Backwards), Sam Davis, Bruce Kiesling, David Kirshenbaum (Summer of '42), Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party), Jeff Marx (Avenue Q), Robert Rokicki, Marc Smollin, Eddie Sugarman and Maddy Wyatt, as well as current students Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Performances by Courtney Balan, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Monique French, Logan Lipton, Shannon McShane, Jeff Meyer, Jesse Nager, Susan Owen, and Tara Siesener - all U of M alum or current students - will also be featured.

The musical director is Gary Adler, the director is Matt Schicker, and the evening will be produced by Jayson Raitt and Rachel Hoffman; all University of Michigan alumni.
