Today we are closing out our first season of interviews with the star players of USA's breakout hit series NECESSARY ROUGHNESS with the show's star, the endearing and scrappy Callie Thorne. In addition to all about the first season of the freshman smash - which has just this week has been greenlit for Season Two - Thorne illustrates what makes the show work so well and what initially drew her to her complex character and the show itself, as well as describing what working with show creator Craig Shapiro is like and how she has collaborated with him and her costars to help further shape her role on the sports themed dramedy. Former 'Sex and the City' writers are teaming up to write a weekly downtown theatrical soap titled Cedar City Falls - a Mid-West Conflict with Labyrinth Theater Company members.

It has been nearly five years since former Sex and the City writers Liz Tuccillo ('Sex and the City,' He's Just Not That Into You), Cindy Chupack (Emmy and three-time Golden Globe winner as a writer and producer of Sexand the City), Elisa Zuritsky, and Julie Rottenberg (Emmy nominated) have collaborated on a project. Fortunately their newest venture, Cedar City Falls, showcases what the four talents do best: bring juicy, comedic soap opera to life in a series of weekly episodes that will be presented live by the LAByrinth Theater Company at the Cell Theater beginning October 6 for four weeks (through October 27) and at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn for a final four weeks (November 4 - 24).

Performances will be every Tuesday night at 7:00 and 9:30 at the Cell Theater beginning October 6 for four weeks (through October 27) and will continue its final four weeks at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn ( November 4 - 24).

Liz Tuccillo, along with three other former writers of 'Sex and the City,' have collaborated on the theatrical series CEDAR CITY FALLS: A MIDWEST CONFLICT,' to launch at New York's Cell Theater next month. The project includes the participation of RENT alums Daphne Rubin-Vega and Jesse L. Martin, amongst others.
