The Little Orchestra Society presents West Side Story and Other Music of the Americas on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.

The Hartt School, the comprehensive performing arts conservatory of the University of Hartford, is pleased to welcome acclaimed horn player and American Brass Quintet member David Wakefield to the faculty of The Hartt School's Instrumental Studies Division. As a senior artist teacher, Wakefield will work with Hartt's horn students.

The Little Orchestra Society continues the 2011-2012 season with the second set of concerts in its popular Lolli-PopsTM series, for children ages 3-5. Kids always love to visit their friends - Bang the Lion, Buzz the Bee, Toot the Bird and Bow the Panda - as they listen, learn and laugh out loud with the orchestra.
