Marty Thomas Presents DIVA features NYC's finest female vocalists paying tribute to the greatest icons throughout history! The show performs weekly in midtown Manhattan hotspot, Industry Bar. It has also been seen around the country, as well as on Off Broadway and Broadway stages. In its fourth year, the show has featured such acts as Shoshana Bean, Shayna Steele, Rachel Potter, Alysha Umphress, Lena Hall, Eden Espinosa, The Glamazons, The Skivvies, Ramona Keller, N'Kenge, Saycon Sengbloh, Kate Rockwell and many many more. From Cher to Whitney, Mariah to Britney, you'll hear them all every Monday night at Industry Bar. There's never a cover and the show is always brand new.

Yesterday evening's photos featured an epic intermission pic from CINDERELLA's Greg Hildreth and Santino Fontana, the men of THE LION KING knitting to their hearts' content, a tribute to PETER PAN's departing 'fly guy', and an electrifying shot from Phoenix Theatre's NEXT TO NORMAL, plus SIPs from THE FANTASTICKS, SPIDER-MAN, JEKYLL & HYDE, FLASHDANCE, SPAMALOT, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, HAIR, and lots of regional shows!

February 1 - 10, AfterWork THeatre Project presents HAIR, at the LABA Theater. Produced by Evan Greenberg and directed/choreographed by Alex Perez, the show will musical direction by Julian Reeve and stage management by Monica Daniels.

STATE FAIR was the only musical that Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote specifically for Hollywood and two versions were filmed, one in 1945 and the other in 1962. The one that's probably most familiar to audiences today is the rather forgettable 1962 version which features Pat Boone serenading a pig. Hammerstein's son, James, revived the musical in 1995, plucking tunes from ME AND JULIET, PIPE DREAM and ALLEGRO! to round out the score. While the results are certainly a mixed bag musically, the latest presentation by Stages St. Louis is splendidly mounted, and provides a lively and engaging look back at a simpler time in our history.

STAGES ST. LOUIS was recognized today with 27 Kevin Kline Award nominations, the most it has ever received in one year, for all four of its 2009 productions. STAGES was the top recipient of total nominations for the Awards, which honor professional theatre in the St. Louis area. The 5th Annual Kevin Kline Awards Ceremony will be held March 22nd, 2010 at the Loretto-Hilton Center on the campus of Webster University.

IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, the stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, has announced casting for its National Tour visiting Omaha, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, East Lansing, St. Louis, Louisville and Kansas City in the 2009 holiday season.
