The Broadway production of END OF THE RAINBOW will open tonight, April 2, at the Belasco Theatre. Michael Cumpsty, Tom Pelphrey and Jay Russell join two-time Oliver Award-winner Tracie Bennett in Peter Quilter's acclaimed play about the legendary Judy Garland, directed by the Tony Award winning Terry Johnson.

The Night of a Thousand Gowns celebrating the LGBT community - the colorful cross-dressing segment of that community -took place on Saturday, March 31 in New York City. In its twenty-six year history, the Court has donated over a million dollars to worthy LGBT, HIV/AIDS and youth enrichment related causes. The Imperial Court of New York has announced that Mike Ruiz, LGBT advocate and renowned photographer, will receive the Imperial Diamond Award at the 26th Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns on March 31, 2012 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. Ruiz will accept the Award for service to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

Lisa Lampanelli, Comedy's Loveable Queen of Mean, will release Equal Opportunity Offender: The Best of Lisa Lampanelli, her first greatest hits compilation, on April 17th, 2012. The album, which is available now for pre-order, collects all-time favorite riffs from the woman Howard Stern calls 'a true original and a brilliant comedy mind.' The Bijou Theatre Presents John Mulrooney and Paul Virz. John Mulrooney hails from Comedy Central, Showtime, HBO and Hollywood Squares. Paul Virzi graced the stage of Caroline's and The Laugh Factory appearing with Tracy Morgan, Dave Attell and Lisa Lampanelli.
