SILENCE! The Musical is winding up its run at PS122 (150 First Ave. at Ninth St.) tonight, July 15, at the 7 PM performance before moving to the brand new Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square, where performances are set to resume this Wednesday, July 18th. The Elektra Theatre has been specially constructed to be the new home of SILENCE! The Musical, located at 673 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.).

SILENCE! The Musical celebrates its one-year anniversary today, July 9th at PS122. Winner of the 2012 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical, SILENCE! The Musical is the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli.

SILENCE! The Musical is celebrating July 4th with a special early 7 PM curtain time to allow folks to enjoy the annual fireworks display.

On Monday, June 25, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was presented songwriter Jack Lechner and a very talented cast of singers to the historic stage. Singing Lechner's songs and praises were Nancy Anderson, Chris Critelli, Desmond Dutcher, Jeannine Frumess, Andy Monroe, Jeremy Schonfeld, Lucas Steele, and Karen Ziemba, with musical direction by Boko Suzuki. Lechner is best known for his 2010 off-Broadway musical The Kid, co-written with composer Andy Monroe and librettist Michael Zam.

SILENCE! The Musical is celebrating Gay Pride weekend with a special added matinee performance today, June 23 at 3 PM at PS122. The cast of the smash hit show is scheduled to appear in Sunday's Pride March, which begins at noon at 36th St. & Fifth Ave. and ends at Christopher & Greenwich Streets. The cast will be bringing along fun surprise goodies to hand out to all their fans in the crowd.

Country comedian Bill Engvall will bring his trademark blue collar comedy back to the Treasure Island Theatre, tonight, June 22 at 8 p.m.

Shuler Hensley is ending his limited four-week run as Dr. Hannibal Lecter this Sunday, June 24th in Off-Broadway's SILENCE! The Musical, where he has been filling in for the vacationing David Garrison.

The Musical on May 31st to catch leading man David Garrison's last performance prior to his vacation. Tony Award winner Shuler Hensley is currently filling in as Dr. Hannibal Lecter through June 24th.
