Lisa Lampanelli Brings One-Woman Show to Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Now thru 10/13

Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts will host a developmental production of a new one-woman show, Skinny Bitch: NOT A Stand-Up Comedy Show, starring self-titled equal opportunity offender, Lisa Lampanelli. The production, which is written by Ms. Lampanelli and 700 Sundays writer Alan Zweibel, is a departure from her signature 'insult comedy,' and will be helmed by Tony Award-winning director John Rando. The production will play the Kimmel Center's Innovation Studio for four nights only: tonight, October 10 - 12 at 8 p.m. and October 13 at 3 p.m.
Sebastian Maniscalco to Play Comix At Foxwoods, 11/14-16

Sebastian Maniscalco first catapulted into the national spotlight with a 20-city tour for his one-hour Comedy Central DVD, "Special Sebastian Live!," and will now make his way back to the Comix At Foxwoods stage from Thursday, Nov. 14 to Saturday, Nov. 16. He will hit the stage at 8 p.m. nightly before performing a doubleheader to close things out with a 10:30 p.m. show.

A Comix At Foxwoods favorite, Bob Marley, will make his highly-anticipated return to Connecticut in 2014, when he takes to the Fox Theater stage for the first time. Marley will keep the show's audiences in stitches, when he commands the room on Saturday, Jan. 25 for an 8 p.m. performance.

Superstar stand-up Ralphie May's two favorite comedians will grace the stage together for a round of performances. May's wife, Lahna Turner, and his feature act, Billy Wayne Davis, will join forces to deliver three nights of hilarity when the duo co-headlines a weekend of performances from Thursday, Nov. 21 to Saturday, Nov. 23. Nightly acts begin at 8 p.m. before they wrap it up at 10:30 p.m. on their last night in town with a 'nasty'-themed showcase.

Eddie Pepitone will make his inaugural visit to Comix At Foxwoods when he takes the stage for four performances beginning Thursday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. Pepitone will conduct the full weekend lineup, keeping the audience laughing for the following two nights at 8 p.m., before leaving them wanting more with a 'nasty'-themed show on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10:30 p.m.
