Lisa Lampanelli to Play MGM Grand Theater, 12/14

Comix At Foxwoods has announced the return of comedy's own "Lovable Queen of Mean," as they welcome back Lisa Lampanelli for one performance on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 9 p.m. at the MGM Grand Theater. Tickets are currently available and fans can purchase tickets in advance for $40, $50 and $60. This show is for mature audiences only.

Lampanelli recently appeared on the fifth season of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, featuring the largest-ever lineup of famous faces competing for charities of their choice. The "Queen of the Roast" has skewered such names as Pamela Anderson, Jeff Foxworthy, David Hasselhoff, and most recently, Donald Trump. She also served as "Roastmaster" for the Roast of Larry the Cable Guy.

She has parlayed her love of Broadway into her own one-woman show which is currently in production, and is a regular on late night television and Howard Stern's Sirius satellite radio show. Her HBO comedy special, Long Live the Queen, and autobiography, "Chocolate, Please: My Adventures in Food, Fat and Freaks," were both released in 2009. Her latest stand-up special was "Tough Love," which is currently available on DVD.
