CMT continues to broaden its appeal with the addition of four new series, four returning series, a variety of projects in development and a newly-created News & Docs division, it was announced today by Jayson Dinsmore, EVP, Programming and Development, during the network's annual upfront presentation.
Recently married couple Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley will premiere four original plays in rep this March. 'Midtown March Medley,' as the series is called, will feature a comedy musical act, a two-hander, a caper and a family drama. There's plenty of classical music, comedy, incest, strokes and murder. As Seth and James say, 'Something for everyone!'

Producers of Forever Dusty, the hit new musical about the life and times of legendary British pop star Dusty Springfield, announced today that the show will host a series of Sing-A-Long performances, following the overwhelming response of the first installment, which celebrated the show's 100th performance on February 13.

The 2013 North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival continues with a weekend of top notch sketch comedy. The sketch portion of the festival runs Thursday, February 7-Sunday, February 10.
