The cast of Edinburgh Fringe show Classic! enjoyed a visit to The National Library of Scotland this week. The show sees the cast perform 42 classic novels in 60 minutes. The library holds many rare first editions of books that are featured in the show as well as handwritten letters by Jane Austen  and Robert Louis Stevenson. Check out photos here!

JUSTICE DISORDERED Gets Reading as Part of Kennedy Center's Page-to-Stage Festival

Justice Disordered, a co-production between The Rainbow Theatre Project and The Law Theater Project, will be presented as part of the Kennedy Center's annual Page-to-Stage Festival. Along with two other works by playwright Dr. Samantha McDermitt, Justice Disordered will be performed on Monday, September 5 at 6pm in the Israeli Lounge.

The Rainbow Theatre Project to Stage Tennessee Williams' SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER

The Rainbow Theatre Project's Generation Q Staged Reading Series is back in the new year with a presentation of Tennessee Williams' harrowing Southern Gothic classic, SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER. It will be paired with a reading of a short-play by Dr. Samantha McDermitt, JUSTICE DISORDERED. The readings take place Monday, February 22, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at Source in the District.

Actors' Shakespeare Project Names New Marketing Director

Actors' Shakespeare Project (ASP) is fulfilling a promise made earlier this year to strengthen its staff structure, as evidenced by its most recent hire of Mia Tavan as Director of Marketing and the three internal promotions including Heather Stern, General Manager; Lindsay Williams, Education and Project Associate; and Laura Bakopolus, Marketing and Development Associate/Patron Services Manager. All positions will take effect in August 2015.

Mercury Theater Chicago, 3745 N. Southport Avenue, presents Chicago's home-grown version of the hilarious Broadway musical AVENUE Q, running from April 24 through June 29, 2014. Winner of the Tony 'Triple Crown' for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book in 2004, AVENUE Q is part flesh, part felt, and packed with heart. The production will be led by Jeff Award winners L. Walter Stearns (Director),Eugene Dizon (Musical Direction), and Kevin Bellie(Choreography) and features custom made puppets by Russ Walko. Check out the photos from opening night below!
