Aberdeen. Opening/press night is Monday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. The performance schedule is Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. with added Saturday 3 p.m. or Sunday 7:00 p.m. performances (TBD). Managing Director Dean R. Gladden announced today that Brandon Kahn has been appointed as General Manager of the Alley Theatre. A native Houstonian, Brandon joins the Alley from Williamstown Theatre Festival where he served over six seasons as Resident Production Stage Manager, Associate Line Producer, and most recently as the Producing Manager. Brandon will assume his General Manager duties October 22.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced that Tony Award winner Laura Benanti will assume the role of Eliza Doolittle in its award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe's MY FAIR LADY, directed by Bartlett Sher, for a limited engagement beginning Tuesday, October 23 and currently scheduled through Sunday, February 17, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Lauren Ambrose, who originated the role in this production, will play her final performance on Sunday, October 21st before leaving to begin work on M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming Apple series.
