GOON is coming to theaters on January 6, 2012. The comedy was penned by 'Superbad' and 'Pineapple Express' writer Evan Goldberg and writer Jay Baruchel, who also stars in the movie. It is directed by Michael Dowse and stars American Pie's Seann William Scott, Liev Schreiber, Alison Pill, Kim Coates and Eugene Levy.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced a new Off-Broadway production of Simon Gray's comedy-drama The Common Pursuit directed by Moises Kaufman. The Common Pursuit will begin performances May 4, 2012 and officially open on May 24, 2012 at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre / Laura Pels Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This is a limited engagement through July 29, 2012.

Multitalented actor Liev Schreiber has been cast in the title role in the SHOWTIME pilot RAY DONOVAN, a drama set in Hollywood, California. Production will begin in Los Angeles in early 2012. RAY DONOVAN is a SHOWTIME production and is created by Southland creator Ann Biderman. Biderman, Mark Gordon and Bryan Zuriff will executive produce.

As first reported on Deadline.com, stage and screen actor Liev Schreiber is set to star in a pilot for the Showtime network entitled RAY DONOVAN. However, Deadline also reports that HBO has not renewed Schreiber's long time contract to continue to be the voice of the sports division of the HBO network.

According to Deadline, stage and screen star Liev Screiber is set to lead Showtime's new pilot 'Ray Donovan'. The series is a 'novelistic look at contemporary Los Angeles. A dark family drama with comedic undertones, the show centers on Ray (Schreiber), a professional "fixer" for LA's rich and famous, the go-to guy in Hollywood who deftly solves the highly confidential problems of the city's most intriguing personalities and yet he can't quite escape the damage in his own troubled family.'
