Lupita Nyong'o stopped by last night's LATE NIGHT to talk about making her Broadway debut in the new play ECLIPSED. The actress discussed being an understudy for the role while a student at Yale Drama School.

Mayor Bill de Blasio and First Lady Chirlane McCray visited the all-female, multi-ethnic, history-making cast of Eclipsed backstage after Friday's performance at the John Golden Theatre on Broadway. They asked the actors how they decompress after performing. Lupita Nyong 'o described how they take time to commune together before every performance and then again, after the show. Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced that HANNAH AND THE DREAD GAZEBO by Jiehae Park is the 2016 L. Arnold Weissberger New Play Award recipient. Jiehae will also receive The Jay Harris Commission to write a new play, a prize worth $10,000.
