'To Kill A Mockingbird' is at The Media Theatre through February 21. The legendary novel by Harper Lee is adapted by Christopher Sergel for the stage play.

After a record number of voters in more than 70 regions worldwide, BroadwayWorld is very excited to announce the 2015 Milwaukee Awards winners. Highlights include Nova Y. Payton for her role in DREAMGIRLS at Milwaukee Rep, Alexander B. Tacoma who wins 'Best Costume Design' for DREAMGIRLS, and Phil Stepanski winning 'Best Actor in a Play' for THE NERD at Sunset Playhouse. Thanks to all who voted, and huge congratulations to all the winners!

?The Media Theatre has the Philadelphia/ Wilmington region's only professional production of the classic play 'To Kill A Mockingbird' starting January 27. Advance sales and buzz surrounding the production are so strong that the theatre is extending it by one week. 'To Kill A Mockingbird' will now close on February 21, rather than the previously announced closing date.

?The Media Theatre's 'The Miracle Worker' is on stage through February 15, featuring 12 year old actress Lexi Gwynn as Helen Keller. The young actress earned her Actors Equity Association membership with this production, and is now a card-carrying member of the union of professional actors based in New York City.

When you can hear a pin drop in the audience as the actors on stage tear at your heart strings more powerfully than the most cleverly crafted dialogue, well you know you've got a winner.

'The Miracle Worker', William Gibson's classic play which focuses on the stormy relationship between Helen Keller and her governess Annie Sullivan is at The Media Theatre now through February 15. Jesse Cline directs the production which features a cast of Actors Equity Association actors led by Jennie Eisenhower and Lexi Gwynn. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the stars in action below!

If Helen Keller were a student today in the Philadelphia region she would have her choice of two outstanding schools -- Overbrook School for the Blind in Philadelphia and Royer-Greaves School for the Blind in Paoli. Helen's story and struggles to learn from her governess Annie Sullivan come into sharp focus in Media Theatre's The Miracle Worker. The classic play by William Gibson opens for previews Wednesday, January 28.
