The Hijinks Are Over! THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG to End Run on August 26

The producers of Broadway's longest running comedy, The Play That Goes Wrong, announced today that the Tony Award-winning production will close on Sunday, August 26, 2018 prior to the launch of the National Tour opening in Pittsburgh, PA in September. Additional tour cities, dates, and casting will be announced at a later date.

On a recent episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, J.J. Abrams appeared as a guest. When Abrams wouldn't share spoilers about any of his upcoming projects, he offered compensation by inviting Colbert to see The Play That Goes Wrong, which Abrams co-produced. Colbert asked if he could bring someone, then proceeded to invite the entire Ed Sullivan Theater audience of about 400. The crowd cheered and Colbert assured them that after the show, they would all be heading over to see the Broadway play.

The Comedy About a Bank Robbery celebrate their second birthday amidst a tsunami of laughter. The new cast members shine while the veterans have the comedy locked down to perfection. 'Everyone is a crook' in Minneapolis in the late 50s, so when City Bank is entrusted with protecting a diamond worth half a million dollars, escaped convict Mitch Ruscitti sets off to steal it. Love triangles, mistaken identities, and various unfortunate gimmicks lead the characters on a laugh-out-loud adventure.

Direct from the West End and nominated for the 2018 Olivier Award for 'Best New Comedy', Mischief Movie Night opens at Oxford Playhouse on Wednesday 6 June, visiting a further six venues nationwide until 22 July 2018. Ahead of its second birthday in the West End this spring, the critically acclaimed and Olivier Award-nominated The Comedy About A Bank Robbery announces a new company. After a year of good behaviour at the Criterion the second company have been released on parole, with a new band of inmates starting performances from 27 February. Joining the cast are Samson Ajewole (Cooper), Jenna Augen (Ruth Monaghan), Jack Baldwin (Officer Shuck), Leonard Cook (Robin Freeboys), Matt Douglas-Hunt (Mitch Ruscitti) and Peter McGovern (Warren Slax). Continuing their roles as the bars-crossed lovers are Samuel Fogell (Sam Monaghan) and Holly Sumpton (Caprice Freeboys), and literally completing the cast is Chris Leask (Everyone Else).

NJSO Youth Orchestras Give Spring Concert, 3/25

The inspiring talent of the NJSO Youth Orchestras will be on display at a spring concert on Sunday, March 25, at 4 pm at Science Park High School in Newark. The performance showcases the NJSO Academy Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, String Ensemble and Training Ensemble, as well as the Anne Lieberson Ensemble-a featured quartet of Academy Orchestra musicians-and the NJPAC Symphonic Band, one of the ensembles in the MANY partnership between the NJSO and NJPAC. The concert is presented by M&T Bank.

DEAR EVAN HANSEN, Pre-Broadway Engagement of AIN'T TOO PROUD, and More Join 2018/19 Mirvish Theatre Season

The 2018/19 Mirvish season will feature six Canadian premieres, one North American premiere, one pre-Broadway engagement and five new productions. A total of 16 shows will play at Mirvish theatres from June 2018 to July 2019. The main subscription season will feature seven shows and the Off-Mirvish season three shows. There will be six bonus shows that will not be on subscription.

Naturally…their attempt to master the sport of curling all went wrong at The Lefrak Center at Lakeside in Bryant Park, Brooklyn despite expert instruction from CurlNYC coach Dean Roth.
