THE HIP HOP NUTCRACKER Comes to Rochester One Night Only

The Hip Hop Nutcracker (www.hiphopnutcracker.com), a contemporary dance spectacle set to Tchaikovsky's timeless music, hits the road this holiday season to 28 U.S. cities. The show will perform in Rochester at RBTL's Auditorium Theatre for one night only on December 20! Produced by the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) with Executive Producer, Eva Price, and co-commissioned by the United Palace of Cultural Arts, The Hip Hop Nutcracker will feature Kurtis Blow, one of hip hop's founding fathers, opening the show in most cities with a short set before rapping the introduction.
IN THE DEAD MOUNTAINS to Open at Austrian Stage

Austrian Stage presents the US and English-language premiere of In the Dead Mountains, a staged reading of the absurd drama by Austrian playwright Thomas Arzt. The performance will be followed by a talk with translator Neil Blackadder, director Guy Ben-Aharon, and Jacob M. Appel, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Kurtis Blow, one of hip hop's founding fathers, will kick off the show with a short set and then rap the introduction.

Best known for his love of cigars and scotch, Ron White returns to The Mirage Hotel & Casino February 9 10, April 20 21, June 1 2, August 17 18, December 7 8 and December 14 15. Making a much anticipated return to the Aces stage in the summer will be the sizzling Kathleen Madigan, who is ready to bring the heat with her new Boxed Wine & Bigfoot national tour Friday, June 22.
