El loro y el cisne tuvo su estreno mundial en la ultima edicion del Bafici -donde obtuvo una Mencion Especial del Jurado de la Competencia Argentina- y continuo su recorrido por festivales de cine internacionales como el Festival de Rio de Janeiro, el BFI London Film Festival y la Viennale. La exhibicion de El loro y el cisne sera acompañada por dos proyecciones de Castro (2009), primer largometraje de Alejo Moguillansky en solitario.
