South Orange Performing Arts Center has released its lineup for the first half of 2017. See the newly released Winter-Spring events schedule below: 

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was excited to present the New York debut of Lenk Lewk Live!, starring actor/comic Tom Lenk.  The one-night-only event took place on Monday, December 5.  Tom's very special guest was Lesli Margherita, star of Broadway's Matilda.

Four dynamic, award-winning Broadway musical stars -- Andrea McArdle (Broadway's original 'Annie'), Maureen McGovern (#1 Gold record 'The Morning After'), Christine Andreas (Oklahoma!, On Your Toes) and Faith Prince (Tony winner Guys & Dolls) -- come together in concert for an evening of song, laughter and memories in 4 Girls 4, coming to Mayo Performing Arts Center on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 8 pm.

Goodspeed Musicals wants to help singers and actors to succeed in dance auditions.  In keeping with our mission to educate and support artists, Goodspeed will offer its first Goodspeed Movers Boot Camp January 6 - 8, 2017 at Pearl Studios in NYC.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater will present the American Artist Award to Tony and Emmy Award-nominated director and playwright Moises Kaufman. The award will be presented tonight, November 10, 2016 as part of the opening night celebration for the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical Carousel, directed by Artistic Director Molly Smith.

The historic Theatre Training Workshops of Woodie King, Jr.'s New Federal Theatre will move uptown next month to Dwyer Cultural Center at 258 St. Nicholas Ave. (at 123rd Street).  They were previously held in spaces adjoining the theater's offices at 292 Henry Street.  The workshops have been a fertile training ground for leading African-American playwrights and actors.
