Fran Sancisco took the stage at the D-Lounge on Sunday, August 22. The duo, comprised of American Idiot cast members Brian Charles Johnson and Chase Peacock, performed their original pop/hip-hop music in their first headlining show. Last night, July 25, the cast of American Idiot took the stage at Joe's Pub to benefit Broadway Impact and their continued efforts to fight for marriage equality. The monthly concert features cast members from various Broadway shows, highlighting the show's performers and the theatre community's commitment to equality. The first sold out show featured the cast of Next to Normal and on August 23rd the cast of Memphis will take the stage for the final installment. 100% of the proceeds go directly to Broadway Impact. Actors' Equity Association announced today that Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT has been selected as the recipient of its Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2009-2010 Season. The Diversity Award will be presented at a reception at the Equity headquarters in New York City on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.

On Monday, May 10th the Mary McGarry Children's Foundation is hosting a fundraiser from 8pm-10pm at the Times Square Arts Center (42nd St and 8th Ave).
