Carlo Albán, Marcello Cruz, Arthur Darvill, Jaye Griffiths, Lesley Lemon, Racheal Ofori, Ian Porter and Genevieve O'Reilly have been cast in the world premiere of Rare Earth Mettle written by Al Smith and directed by Royal Court Associate Director Hamish Pirie. With set design by Moi Tran, lighting design by Lee Curran, composition by Carlos Gutiérrez Quiroga, sound design by Ella Wahlström, movement direction by Yami Löfvenberg, dialect coaching by Carter Bellaimey and assistant direction from Camila Ymay González.

Door Shakespeare Producing Artistic Director Michael Stebbins and Managing Director Amy Ensign announces the Autumn Door Shakespeare Reading Series offering: I Hate Hamlet by Paul Rudnick. I Hate Hamlet will be presented on Monday, October 18 at 7 p.m. at the Woodwalk Gallery in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin.

The Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton, Massachusetts, will celebrate the 15th anniversary of its founding by presenting Icons for Our Time: Orthodox Art from Around the World, an ambitious exhibition of 15 commissioned icons by some of the most important contemporary icon painters.  

Little Island, New York City’s new public park in Hudson River Park by W. 13th Street, will begin performances for the 2021 Dance Festival tomorrow, Wednesday, September 15. The percussive dance focused festival is Co-curated by Little Island Artist-in-Residence Ayodele Casel and Torya Beard and will run through Sunday, September 19.

First Floor Theater has announced their ninth live-production season, featuring one world premiere and one Chicago premiere, along with a second round of The Blueprint Commission, it’ new play development initiative.

The season continues with Mat Smart's “Naperville” directed by Naebig (Jan. 27-Feb. 27), and Richard Bean's “One Man Two Guvnors” an English adaptation of “The Servant of Two Masters (Italian: Il servitore di due padroni)” directed by Canaday Howard (April 28-May 29).

The stacked cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Timothée Chalamet, Ron Perlman, and more.

These questions are investigated in the new, critically-acclaimed art documentary that starts at The Park Theatre on Friday, September 10. It plays at 7:30pm each night until September 16. There is a 2pm matinee on Sunday, September 12.
