The Utah Symphony's free summer concert series returns with three outdoor concerts in Salt Lake County conducted by Associate Conductor Vladimir Kulenovic.

Musical Theatre Guild, the winner of the Los Angles Drama Critic's Circle Margaret Harford Award for sustained excellence in the theatre, has announced an exciting quartet of shows, all with film ties, to celebrate its eighteenth season of Broadway in Concert musicals and in addition, a move to Santa Monica's Ann and Jerry Moss Theatre.

On June 22, music lovers can hear another free concert by the 100-year-old Houston Symphony at Miller Outdoor Theatre as part of their ExxonMobil Summer Symphony Nights series at Miller Outdoor Theatre. The concert will feature popular works by Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov. Led by associate conductor Robert Franz, the concert will also feature cello soloist Christine Lamprea, a native of San Antonio and winner of the 2013 Sphinx Competition, who will make her debut with the Houston Symphony performing Tchaikovsky's technically challenging Variations on a Rococo Theme for Cello and Orchestra.

The Museum of the City of New York will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its beloved Perform! series by showcasing the best of Broadway musical cabaret featuring lead performers Gregg Edelman, Michael McElroy, Christianne Tisdale, Natalie Toro, as well as Musical Director Christopher McGovern on Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16.

NJTV, New Jersey's public television network, and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) announced the production of a new music television series, American Songbook at NJPAC, taped before a live audience at the Arts Center and airing on NJTV and WNET this fall.

Marni Nixon, who dubbed the singing role for Natalie Wood, along with Bert Michaels (Snowboy), Eddie Verso (Juano) and Harvey Evans (Mouth Piece), will participate in a roundtable discussion about WEST SIDE STORY at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on June 14 from 7 p.m.to 7:30 p.m. Jonathan Palevsky, program director of WBJC 91.5 FM radio and host of "Cinema Sundays" at The Charles Theater, will moderate.

To coincide with the 20-year anniversary of the Ford Partnership Program, which nurtures locally based artists and arts organizations, the Los Angeles County Arts Commission presents the inaugural Zev Yaroslavsky Signatures Series. This two-concert program benefiting the Ford Theatre Foundation pairs world-renowned performers with a local artistic treasure, celebrating Los Angeles as a destination for world-class artists, who find here both collaboration with, and inspiration from, celebrated local artists.

World-renowned playwright and Tony Award nominee Ken Ludwig (Crazy for You, Lend Me a Tenor) will be hosting an interactive discussion on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, followed by a book-signing of his new book How to Teach Your Children Shakespeare at the Folger Shakespeare Library today, June 8 at 12pm.

The divas took all the top prizes at the 2013 Tony Awards, from Cyndi Lauper and Billy Porter (as Lola) of KINKY BOOTS through to Best Directors Diane Paulus and Pam McKinnon to Cicely Tyson, Patina Miller, Judith Light and Andrea Martin in the acting categories to Caroline O'Connor of A CHRISTMAS STORY to MATILDA, CINDERELLA, and beyond in smashing performances. Polished, practiced, poised and primed to deliver, the show was a splendid showcase for Broadway today, fabulously decked out to the nines (and over-elevens).

Make Music New York presents the world premiere of Jed Distler's Broken Record, a piece composed for 175 battery-powered Yamaha keyboards and one Yamaha acoustic grand piano on Cornelia Street in the West Village on Friday, June 21st. There will be two performances at 11am and 12 Noon in front of the Cornelia Street Café.

Music Director George Rothman will lead Riverside Symphony in a program of musical gems reflecting the cross-pollination of jazz and indigenous music with traditional European compositional technique.
