Broadway & Beyond: Access for Stage Managers of Color is pleased to announce its first networking event of the year, continuing its mission to provide opportunity, education, and vital industry connections for stage managers of color.

“Lift it up, lift it up: we can sing our country free!” Twenty triple-threat performers and a five piece band will bring an inspirational new musical based on historical events to life this January. Presented by Dreamtone Productions in association with NewYorkRep, the world premiere of Singing Revolution: The Musical sets a tale of star-crossed lovers against the beautiful, moving and timeless true story of Estonia’s 1987 song-filled, peaceful uprising against the Soviet Union.

Broadway & Beyond: Access for Stage Managers of Color has recently updated its website to include a contact database for stage managers of color who are open to work and a job postings section. Broadway & Beyond is committed to continuing to develop pathways for aspiring and mid-career stage managers of color to enter or achieve the next level of success within the professional theatre industry. With these new functions, the Broadway & Beyond website is an invaluable, free resource for making those connections.

Surrounded is a collection of 16 new songs written in the first weeks of the 2020 lockdown. These songs are again stunning guitar and vocal compositions highlighting Sullivan's love of storytelling, wide open landscapes, and unforgettable atmospheres.

Mostly recorded at home, the album also features contributions from many other musicians including Jon Thorne on bass (Lamb), Tom Moth on harp (Florence and the Machine - and brother of NMA bassist Ceri Monger), plus string arrangements from composer friends Tobias Unterberg, Henning Nugel and Shir-Ran Yinon.
