Following last year's record-breaking production of Jack and the Beanstalk, Birmingham Hippodrome has announced another all-star cast for this year's action-packed pantomime Aladdin, which runs from Saturday 19 December 2015 until Sunday 31 January 2016.

Kerry Ellis, who takes over from Nicole Scherzinger as Grizabella in the current West End smash-hit, Cats, will feature inThe Night of Electric Voices on Sunday 1 March 2015 at 8pm at the London Coliseum, the largest theatre in London. Niamh Perry plays the role of Sophie in the MAMMA MIA! International Tour when it plays its exclusive UK Summer Season at the Blackpool Opera House now through 14 September 2014. Niamh previously played the role in the West End in 2009, when the musical celebrated its 10th birthday. Tonight, a crowd of almost 200 theatre professionals, supporters, and members of the media gathered on the stage of the National Theatre to hear the names of the nominees for the 30th Annual Helen Hayes Awards.

Joining the previously announced Reece Shearsmith as biology teacher Mr Stuart are Ashleigh Gray as Stephanie, Aaron Sidwell as Michael, Hannah Levane as Paulette and Niall Sheehy as Johnny.

By connecting with future audiences, Creative Producers Chris Wheeler and Niall Bailey hope to raise money for the initial'workshop' stage of the show's development. The funding will allow the pair - who have been developing the show for a number of years - to work on the material with a talented cast and director.

Ellen Burstyn, acclaimed film, television, and stage actress, will be a special guest of the 29th Helen Hayes Awards tonight, April 8 to help accept the this year's Helen Hayes Tribute, presented to Actors' Equity Association. Ms. Burstyn, a previous President of Actors' Equity, will be joined by current President Nicholas Wyman in receiving the honor on the organization's behalf.
