'THE 12', an original rock musical written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Robert Schenkkan, with music, lyrics, and story concept by award winning composer, Neil Berg made its world premiere at Riverspace in Nyack, NY, from March 19 - 21, 2010 before opening the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, April 1st in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Riverspace will end its run of Neil Berg's THE 12 on March 21st before its World Premiere at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, April 1st (Ft. Lauderdale, FL).

First came Hair, then, Jesus Christ Superstar -- which led to Rent and Spring Awakening. Now comes "THE 12", an original rock musical written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, ROBERT SCHENKKAN, with Music, Lyrics, and Story concept by award winning composer, NEIL BERG. The World Premiere preview performances will take place at Riverspace in Nyack, NY, March 19 - 21, 2010 before its World Premiere at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, April 1st (Ft. Neil Berg's '100 Years of Broadway' comes to The Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University to perform classic Broadway hits Sunday, March 14 at 4 p.m. This live concert event features five performers with Broadway credentials, accompanied by some of New York's finest stage musicians, who perform dazzling arrangements of the renowned songs and scenes made legendary on Broadway.

Full casting has been announced for Riverspace's upcoming production of Neil Berg's THE 12. The cast will include Ron Bohmer (The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Ragtime) as 'Peter,' Jeremey Kushnier (Rent, Footloose) as 'Thomas,' Lawrence Clayton (Dreamgirls, The Civil War) as 'Matthew,' and Sean Jenness (The Civil War, Doug Flutie Band) as 'Bart.'

The Triad and Lee Summers hosted the 'Just A Piano Open Mic Launch: A Benefit For Haiti' last night, January 31st. The 'Just A Piano' concept broadened for this series inviting singers to also bring accompanists or pre-recorded tracks, musical instruments or play on The Triad's recently refurbished baby grand. All proceeds from the event were donated to The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund and The American Red Cross.

On June 30, 2008 BroadwayWorld.com and Radio Broadway presented 'The Radio Hits of 1958' featured a variety of Broadway stars in addition to American Idol's Constantine Maroulis and alumni from American Bandstand. The event was held at the Town Hall, Times Square's landmark concert venue.
