Tonight, September 13th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate Kartes birthday.

A bevy of fabulous Broadway, Off-Broadway and Downtown performers gather together raise funds and awareness at OVER IT! A Benefit For Ovarian Cancer Awareness. Held at the Laurie Beechman Theater, whose namesake lost her battle with ovarian cancer, the evening's proceeds will go to the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative. Singing the songs that inspire them most, the roster of singers includes Brian Bailey (Cats, The Wizard of Oz), Jennifer Bennett (Cats), Anne Brummel(Wicked), Canadian singing sensation Michael Hughes, Liana Hunt (Mamma Mia), Lisa Karlin (The Addams Family, Ragtime), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), Annalyse McCoy (2/3 Goat), Cedric Neal (Porgy and Bess), Christine Pedi (Forbidden Broadway, Newsical), Molly Pope (The Material World), Allison Rogers (Giant), Gabrielle Ruiz (In The Heights, A Chorus Line), Lara Siebert (A Christmas Story, Hugh Jackman's Back on Broadway, Young Frankenstein) Antoine L. Smith(Memphis) and The Manhattan Dolls(Sarah Drake, Annemarie Rosano, Christine Tucker). Jason Wetzel serves as music director for the evening.'

Rocket Science, the new musical based on the HBO film of the same name, will enjoy a fresh look at its musical selections in concert at the upcoming NYTB in the D-Lounge, New York Theatre Barn's popular platform for up-and-coming new writers and musical projects, on Monday, September 10 at 7:30pm in the D-Lounge of the Daryl Roth Theatre.

Joseph Macchia brings back the hit monthly series Broadway On 22nd Street, which brings back some of the most talented performers from the Great White Way down to The Metropolitan Room. Each performer has a four-song set and pairs up for duets and group numbers. The fabulous musical director Tracy Stark heads the evening. Performing tonight, Spetember 10th at 7 p.m. will be Kwame Remy, Marissa Rosen, Zoie Morris and Antuan Raimone. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.

The first Broadway's "ROAR" Rockers Obliterating Ailing Renal will take place at the Laurie Beechman Theater on Monday, September 17th at 9:30 P.M. This is a benefit for actress, Kellie Lynne Leach who is in end-stage renal failure and needs a kidney transplant.

Amy Frear and Chelsea Sanz are pleased to present NAPOLEON PRINCESS GROUPIE NEWSPAPER as part of this year's Philadelphia Fringe Festival. NPGN is written by Amy Frear, directed by Chelsea Sanz and has performances by Jessie Bennett, Amy Frear, Amanda Kearns, Merci Lyons-Cox and Harry Slack. All participants are Philadelphia natives, current students and/or Alumnus from Temple University and The University of the Arts.

New York based actor/therapist, Jude Treder-Wolff, will be taking her solo show, CrAzYToWn: MY FIRST PSYCHOPATH to The San Francisco Fringe Festival tonight, Sept 8th - 16th.

By popular demand, an additional week of performances has been added to the previously announced run of cult sensation DINA MARTINA in DINA MARTINA: AMPLE WATTAGE at The Laurie Beechman Theater. Performances, which begin Sept. 20, have now been extended thru Sept. 30th.

MARIANNE CHALLIS, an award-winning cabaret singer and one of Broadway's busiest and most respected vocal technicians and voice teachers, died peacefully in her sleep early Wednesday morning at her apartment and voice studio in Manhattan's theatre district.
