THE LION KING Opens Tonight in Jacksonville

The Jacksonville return of Disney's The Lion King opens tonight, Wednesday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Times-Union Center for a limited engagement of two weeks through Sunday, February 11. In Jacksonville, The Lion King will play Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. & 8 p.m., and Sundays at 1 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. "Thus far, sales have exceeded our expectations," said Executive Director Dr. Milt Russos. "Some seats are still available during our two-week engagement, but they are going fast!"
Cast Announced for Orlando Engagement of THE LION KING

Casting has been announced for the Orlando return engagement of Disney's The Lion King. The show's first appearance in the Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and it's third time to Orlando, the four-week engagement runs from February 14 through March 11.

Created to pay tribute to Berlin's life and legendary works, this is the first time a dedicated digital resource has existed online for the man epitomized by Jerome Kern's famous maxim: 'Irving Berlin has no place in American music - he is American music.'
